Ek Mini Katha to get an OTT release

The second wave of global pandemic has rattled the film industry once again. Theatres have been shut and so the release of many films have been pushed. Cashing this opportunity, yet again OTT platforms are luring producers with good offers and one small film received a decent deal and they could not refuse.

The film is ‘Ek Mini Katha’ starring Santosh Shoban and Kavya Thapar in the lead roles. The film was supposed to arrive at the box office in April last week but due to the theatre's closure in Telangana, the release was postponed.

However, with the situation not yet getting clearer, the producers of ‘Ek Mini Katha’ have decided to release it on OTT. According to insiders Amazon Prime has bought the film for a price of Rs 9 crore which is a pretty good deal for a film of this scale.

‘Ek Mini Katha’ is written by Merlapaka Gandhi and directed by Karthik Rapolu.
