Tollywood Biggie To Hit OTT?

The second wave COVID has wreaked havoc on the country and Tollywood is no different. With many big ticket film shoots getting postponed and then many films have pushed their release date or been postponed with the surge in COVID cases.

Now, the latest report is that Virata Parvam which was scheduled to release in April is going OTT. The film rights have been sold for a record price Rs 30 crores. However the team is yet to confirm the news. On the other side, if it turns out true, then this will be the first bollywood biggies opting for digital streaming rights.

Virata Paravam based on naxalite backdrop stars Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi. The film is directed by Venu Udugula. The teaser has clocked over 40 million views and still counting.
