The AP government finds out a strong point to counter the opposition TDP in light of the chaos created with the second wave of covid spreading. It is a known fact that Bharat Biotech developed the first indigenous vaccine Covaxin in India against the coronavirus.

It must be recalled that the owner of Bharat Biotech Krishna Yella is a close relative of Eenadu group's chairman Ramoji Rao. That's why Ramoji Rao has been promoting Covaxin more than anything for the past couple of months.

Bharat Biotech, however, is failing to produce sufficient quantity of Covaxin. If the company transfers its technology to other companies, enough quantity of vaccine can be produced by other companies which would end the shortage of vaccine and furthermore vaccine can be given to all age group's people including 18 to 45 age group.

The AP CM understood the selfish attitude of Bharat Biotech and its promoter Ramoji Rao. Eventually, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote a letter to PM Modi insisting on the transfer of Bharat Biotech's technology to other companies.

The PM should ensure the needful is done immediately.
