Akhanda Takes A Cue From Pushpa

Senior star actor Balakrishna was appreciated recently for being the only senior star hero to brave COVID and continue with the shoot of Akhanda. Boyapati Srinu in fact convinced Balakrishna to go ahead with the shoot so that they could release the film as per schedule on May 28.

However, with COVID engulfing the state rapidly, it looks like Akhanda team has taken a cue from Bunny’s Pushpa. Allu Arjun got affected with COVID on Pushpa sets as they continued to shoot despite criticism. 

But Akhanda team has learned a lesson from Bunny and has reportedly postponed the shoot with the second wave at rise. It is reported that things will resume only after everything sets back to normalcy. On the other side, Akhdan release date may also get deferred. An official word is awaited.
