Acharya Has Sye Raa Connection

Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is one the most-talked about films in Tollywood. The film sees Chiranjeevi essaying as social reformer reformed from naxalite. Koratala Siva is known to have message oriented in his film, and Acharya is no different.

Meanwhile, is there any connection between Sye Raa and Acharya. You must be wondering how Acharya is same to Sye Raa as the latter deals with period drama, while Acharya is social film. But there comes a twist as there is similarity between them.

Akin to Sye Raa inspired from real life character Uyyala Narasimha Reddy, in Acharya too Chiranjeevi’s character draws inspiration from a rebellious character who took part in Vizag Sayudha Poratam. Acharya directed by Koratala was planned for May 14 release, but with COVID second wave, the film got pushed.
