Will Ravi Teja’s Gamble Pay Off?

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is gambling with his upcoming flick, Khiladi. The film is set for release on May 28. However, with Coronavirus gripping Tollywood with the second wave, many big-ticket films have got postponed or pushed the release date. From Chiranjeevi’s Acharya to Sukumar’s Pushpa among others have postponed the release date owing to surge in Covid cases.

But Ravi Teja seems to differ as he opts for no change. Reportedly, Mass Maharaja is keen to go for the same date i.e. May 28 for Khiladi. As per reports, the actor is okay even if the theaters operate on 50% occupancy.  Looks like, Ravi Teja is willing to take gamble since the film won’t have any competition from other films.

Directed by Ramesh Varma, Khiladi teaser was unveiled ahead of Ugadi. The teaser over one-minute promises a gripping action thriller with Ravi Teja donning dual avatars. The teaser ends with Ravi Teja mouthing, “If you play smart without stupid emotions, you are unstoppable.” Khiladi also features Dimple Hayathi, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Nikitin Dheer, Sachin Khedekar, Thakur Anoop Singh, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Keshav Deepak.
