Republic Teaser: Thought-Provoking

Sai Tej has teamed up with director Deva Katta for an intense social drama Republic that revolves around the themes of Indian systems of the judiciary, legislative, and administration. Sai Tej plays a civil servant named Abhi. The film’s teaser has been dropped just a while ago.

Republic teaser starts off with a powerful quotation of popular journalist George Orwell. “In our age, there is no such thing as keeping out of politics.” Sai Tej questions the corrupt and feudal political system in the country.

The teaser with the voiceover of Sai Tej has no dialogues from any other actors. Ramya Krishna plays a powerful politician and she looks apt in it. The teaser ends with Sai Tej’s dialogue, “Vyavastha Punadule Corrupt ayinapudu andaru corrupt ye sir.”

Going by the teaser, Republic is Deva Katta mark film and Sai Tej impresses in his role. Mani Sharma lifts the visuals with his BGM. Overall, Republic teaser is thought-provoking. The film is scheduled for release on June 4th.
