Reason For Trivikram Rejecting PK Films!

Ala Vaikunthapurramloo released during Sankranthi 2020 was the last film of director Trivikram Srinivas who has been waiting for nearly one and half years for young tiger NTR to make a political thriller with him. In the meantime, Trivikram rejected two offers to direct Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

Producer Dil Raju wanted Trivikram Srinivas to direct Pink remake with Pawan Kalyan. Then, producer Naga Vamsi too wished Trivikram to helm Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake with Pawan Kalyan. However, since Trivikram is not interested in directing remakes, he refused both the projects.

However, he recommended Venu Sriram’s name for Vakeel Saab and came on board to pen screenplay and dialogues for Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake being helmed by Sagar K Chandra.

Fortunately for Venu Sriram and Sagar K Chandra, they got the opportunity to direct their favorite star. While Vakeel Saab is due for release on April 9th, AK remake is under production stages.
