It's now official! The Tdp showed no signs of hesitation in boycotting the MPTC and ZPTC elections. The hardcore Tdp loyalists failed to digest the bitter truth the 40-year old yellow party would be out of elections out of fear of defeat.
But then, it's inevitable. The party is left with no option other than staying away from the Parishad elections.
As we all know, the Tdp faced a humiliating defeat in the Panchayat and municipal polls. Despite the presence of Nimmagadda, who was claimed to be the Tdp's biased casteist by the ruling YSRCP, Tdp couldn't register respectable numbers in the local body polls.
Since Neelam Sahni replaced Nimmagadda as a new SEC, the Tdp lost all its rest of the hopes of competing with the YSRCP for Parishad elections. Forecasting the rebellion within the party for the change of leadership, the Tdp preferred a convenient strategy skipping out the elections. But then, how far this move made the party bailed out of its crisis is to be witnessed in upcoming days.
