Court Notices, Charan’s Film In Trouble!

Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s high budget film Indian 2 has been facing several issues much before it was launched. Dil Raju came on board to produce the film. But, he opted out as both Kamal and Shankar demanded huge remunerations and the film requires massive budget which is tough to recover.

When the film was in the mid of shooting, a crane accident stalled the film’s shoot. While most of the films resumed shooting after lockdown, Shankar didn’t recommence the shoot of Indian 2. Recently, he announced his next with Ram Charan and Dil Raju will be producing the film billed to be a political drama.

Meanwhile, Lyca Productions that is producing Indian 2 moved to Madras High Court to stop director Shankar from moving on to Ram Charan’s film. Producers of Lyca claim that they had already spent 180 crores out of total budget of 230 Cr and are ready to deposit remaining remunerations with the Court. Notices have been sent to Shankar.

Ram Charan’s film is in troubles as Shankar may need to complete Indian 2 first. Due to elections in the corner, Kamal Haasan may not join Indian 2 for few more days and moreover the actor is yet to recover from his leg injury.

It has to be seen what Shankar will decide!
