Even when he was ruling the roost of his career, the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu would prefer alliances with other political parties to gain more strength. Since he understood the basic fact that the he had no such charisma to pull off the party in the general elections, he would always prefer tie ups with other parties.
But then, what if the TDP's fate when the party has lost all its strength and would desperately need a better leadership? Right now, the TDP cadre, themselves, treat CBN as gone case while they are not in a position to admit Nara Lokesh, a successive leader.
At this dire situation, some true well wishers of the TDP advised CBN, Eenadu Ramoji Rao and ABN RK to form a tie up with the Janasena and announce Power Star Pawan Kalyan the CM candidate on behalf of both political parties. If both the parties win seats considerably in 2024 general elections, Pawan Kalyan could be the CM of the state for the half of the tenure and then a TDP leader would replace him for the latter half tenure.
Sadly, CBN, Ramoji and RK haven't paid heed of well wishers advice. They turned a deaf ear to their precious advice.
Exactly at this juncture, the BJP has adopted the smartest move. The AP BJP's head Somu Veerraju officially proclaimed that Pawan Kalyan would be the CM candidate for both the BJP and the JSP. Obviously, the bond between the BJP and the Janasena gets strengthened and will be continued till 2024 general elections.
The TDP has now missed out a lifetime opportunity. The Janasena would never even think of an alliance with the TDP. Right now, the status of the TDP is something like 'Gaallo Deepam'.
