VD With National Award Director?

Vijay Deverakonda is in purple patch. The actor with no Godfather in the industry has now emerged as the poster boy in Bolywood circles. Arjun Reddy star is busy in Mumbai circuit for his pan-Indian film Liger starring Ananya Panday and being helmed by Puri Jagannadh and with Karan Johar as one the co-producers, the stakes are high for the film.

While Vijay is said have shifted his base to Mumbai owing to work commitments, buzz is on his next project. It is believed that dynamic star may collaborate with Vamshi Paidipally whose film Maharshi won ‘Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment’ category at the 67th National Film Awards.

While the tinsel town is abuzz with Deverakonda and Vamshi Paidipally’s collaboration, it is yet to be confirmed. Since Deverakonda has packed schedules and with many interesting offers coming his way, will this collaboration would work out or not is awaited. Speaking about Oopiri director his film Maharshi eanred him fame and success. But suprisingly, he didn't kick started any project despite the success of Maharshi.

While it was believed that he would again work with Mahesh Babu, it didn't happen owing to creative differences. However, the National Award win has come as much needed relief for the filmmaker.
