It seems huge experiments are being done on 1 to 12 class students of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. A merely contrasting situation, in terms of working days and holidays of Schools, is being witnessed by the educationists, right now.
It is a known fact that the TS government declared holidays to Schools and colleges indefinitely. Hitherto, the Schools and colleges remained closed for 11 long months owing to the spreading of coronavirus pandemic. Finally, the Schools were reopened in the month of February. However, the students joy of learning wasn't long-lasting. Now that a significant spike in COVID positive cases is being recorded everyday, yet again, The TS government took a crucial decision to shut down the Schools and colleges until further orders are issued.
Obviously, doubts are mushroomed whether the public examinations for class 10 and Intermediate examinations would be held as scheduled earlier. Thus, the education authorities might have struck in doldrums for the conduct of terminal examinations.
On the contrary, a hectic and lengthy academic calendar has been released by the education department of AP. Much to everyone's shocker, no summer holidays have been bestowed by the authorities to class 10 students and the teachers. It, then, remains to be seen how well the students and the teachers combat to the scorching heat of the threatening summer.
By and large, the educationists reckon that too many experiments on education system would lead to a chaos and commotion. "Whatever the change initiated, which must ensure the holistic improvement in the system," asserts an educationist.
