Many filmmakers, technicians and actors wish to bag national awards for their performances in the movies. However, they don't know the process of making an award winning film/performance. Here are some guidelines enlisted to win the national awards. 

JURY MEMBERS AND THEIR QUALIFICATIONS: Jury members watch films and adjudge awards for the films of their choices. Usually, these jury members are said to be 'Tasteless Fellows' by the film lovers. They have very poor knowledge on assessing a good or a bad film. It's also alleged that the jury members are selected by either politicians or high profile personalities. Jury members like the words 'recommendation' and 'corruption' with reasons unknown.

But then, a mediocre film that has wafer thin liner as a key concept is enough to get conferred with the awards.
