Big budget films come with a whopping amount to be spent by the filmmakers. In the past, we have seen how Saaho makers spent a huge amount on VFX. Nearly Rs 40 crores was spent just on the climax scene which consisted of sleek action sequences done at the par of Hollywood range. However, the film failed to entice Telugu audiences but it did pretty well in Hindi belt and the action sequences set tongues wagging.
Now, the same is repeating with Radh Krishna Kumar’s Radhe Shyam. Reportedly, they have spent a staggering amount of Rs 60 crores on mere Radhe Shyam VFX. Although the Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas, Pooja Hegde doesn’t comprise action scenes but since it has the milieu of period film, heavy VFX is required.
The pan-Indian film is all set for grand release on July30. Bankrolled by UV Creations, the film has huge buzz carrying on it. How the period drama fares at the box-office is awaited. Meanwhile, the production house has now altered its route. All the films post Radhe Shyam are said to be made on a moderate budget to medium ones.
