Did you know? A section of TDP loyalists are quite delighted with the downfall of Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh with the back to back Panchayat and municipal elections defeat. And this section of loyalists strongly support Young Tiger Ntr's leadership in the party. They wish Ntr would lead the TDP for 2024 general elections.
It is a known news that there were ruckus from Ntr's fans at the TDP chief CBN's public meet at Kuppam during the election campaigning.
Some political analysts are skeptical about the protests that there was an intentional strategy of Ntr behind the protests. "Unless, Ntr gives nod, TDP's activists wouldn't dare to make protests in front of CBN," opined an analyst.
"It appears something like Ntr would takeover the TDP from CBN forcibly," the analyst added. In such a case, Would the most aggressive leader of the TDP, Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna, stay silent? Will he let Ntr lead the the party in future? Will Balakrisna work under Ntr's leadership?
It must be recalled that Balakrishna said, lately, that he would prefer an aggressive approach to take on the YSRCP government soon. Saying so, Balayya indirectly hinted that he had been planning to get the party's chief post.
Barring all this hearsay, will CBN generously allow Ntr or Balakrishna to grab his post? It seems it would be a mammoth task for anyone including Ntr and Balakrishna to replace CBN in the party. As we know, Naidu is one of the master strategists in politics.
