Flop Film Becomes A Turning Point For Her

Raj Tarun’s recent outing Power Play directed by Vijay Kumar Konda has got lukewarm response at box office. With negative reviews from critics and audience alike, the film is ending up as a disaster. However, actress Poorna who played a negative shaded role has got good recognition.

Though Poorna looked cool in sarees, she impressed one and all with her villainy acts. Obviously, she is being considered to play female roles with negative shades in upcoming films. The actress is also part of some interesting projects.

Poorna is doing a vital role as Padmavathi in Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu’s film. She played the role of Sasikala in Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi. She is also part of Venkatesh’s Drishyam 2 where she will be seen in a brief yet crucial role.

While Power Play didn’t give much to any other actor, it presented Poorna in a new dimension and this impressed the filmmakers.
