Did anyone think that, things will come to normalcy in Tollywood in such quick time? While no industry delivered a decent hit so far after the theatres were re-opened, many Telugu films starting from Solo Brathuke So Better to Naandhi stood as hits to blockbusters. The box office collections of Krack and Uppena surprised even trade pundits.

As of now, no noted film from Bollywood has been released. Kollywood witnessed only one big ticket film Master which ended up as an above average grosser. Mohan Lal’s Malayalam film Drishyam chose OTT way and no noted Malayalam films released this year.

Even Hollywood and other language films are yet to come out of corona shock. Filmmakers across the globe fear whether audience will come to theatres like earlier. However, Telugu audiences are coming to theatres and good number of films released in 2021 became sensational hits.

We have seen many stars thanking Telugu audiences for daring to come to cinema halls. Nagarjuna during media briefing of Wild Dog expressed his shock over Tollywood delivering many hits this year.

Yes, the world cinema is looking at Tollywood and they are unable to understand what magic the filmmakers here did to bring audience to theatres under unfavorable conditions. It’s Telugu audience’s love on cinema that is actually bringing them to theatres again.
