Bangarraju For Sankranthi, What’s Up?

King Nagarjuna during media briefing of Wild Dog made an interesting statement about his next film. When asked about update of Bangarraju, he said, “We are planning to start Bangarraju from June, this year. And everything goes as planned, the film will be released for Sankranthi in 2022,” stated Nagarjuna.

It is known that, Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan’s tentatively titled film Veeramallu will be releasing for Sankranthi. The makers of Balakrishna’s untitled film under the direction of Gopichand Malineni are also mulling over releasing it for the festival. Now, Nagarjuna too announced to be in Sankranthi race.

In fact, Soggade Chinni Nayana that was released for Sankranthi turned out to be a blockbuster. The film directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala ended up as biggest grosser for Nagarjuna. Apparently, Nagarjuna feels the prequel Bangarraju should also do wonders if released for Sankranthi.

Sankranthi, indeed, is the biggest movie festival for Tollywood and most of the star heroes wish to cash in the season. Unlike other seasons, Sankranthi will witness huge number of films to release in a week gap, every year. The sankranthi in 2022 is going to be a blast for movie buffs as four big ticket films are hitting the screens.
