RRR Comes Close To Baahubali, But

It’s ace director SS Rajamouli who is the only Telugu director making movie buffs across the country wait for his films. After delivering biggest hit of the country with Baahubali, Rajamouli is readying another blockbuster material RRR with NTR and Ram Charan playing the lead roles in the Pan India film.

RRR Tamil rights were bagged by Lyca Productions for a whopping price. But, the film got lesser amount to what Baahubali 2 fetched its makers. While Baahubali 2 Tamil rights were sold for Rs 47 Crores, Lyca spent Rs 45 Cr. But, in a positive note, it’s a massive price, given both NTR and Charan didn’t have solid market in Tamil.

“We are delighted and proud to announce The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of THE BIGGEST PAN INDIA FILM #RRRMovie is acquired by us...” announced Lyca Productions.

RRR also features Tamil actor Samuthirakhani, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Shriya Saran in important roles.

RRR is gearing up for release worldwide on October 13th.
