Sharwanand got a good break as an actor with Prasthanam. Since then he has been upping his game with his movie choices and raising his graph. In fact, with blockbuster Sathamanam Bhavati he went to cement his place among the heroes of his age.
It would have thought that post Sathamanam Bhavati success, things would have fallen smooth on Sharwanand, things went different. His films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Ranarangam and Jaanu all turned turkey at the box-office. Jaanu was the remake of Tamil superhit 97, but it failed to appease Telugu masses. Despte havng star heroine Samanatha, Jaanu bombed.
Sharwanand has been putting his best efforts. He has been choosing novel and content oriented subjects, but lady luck seems to evade him. His latest film Sreekaram which is near for release doesn’t have any buzz. Sreekaram has contemporary subject and it comes at a time when the nation is disrupted with farmers’ protests. But still the film doesn’t have any hype surrounding it.
Will Sharwa get the right result with this movie? Will his efforts will yield is to be seen.
