This cricketer’s film in Telugu too

It’s a well-known fact that cricketer, spinner Harbhajan Singh is making his film debut with a Tamil project titled Friendship, along with veteran actor Arjun. Friendship is being made on a lavish budget of Rs 25 crore and the Telugu rights for the same have been bagged by producer A N Balaji on behalf of Sri Lakshmi Jyothi Creations for a fancy price.  John Paul Raj, Sham Surya are directing the film which is also expected to have a release in Hindi, considering the popularity of both its lead actors.

Bigg Boss fame Losliya, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Aryan Goud, producer-turned actor J Sathish Kumar play crucial roles in this multi-lingual whose final schedule is progressing in the vicinity of Coimbatore and Ooty. “My joy knows no bounds in presenting this project in Telugu. The action-romance that unfolds in an engineering campus backdrop will entertain family audiences and youngsters alike. We’re looking forward to releasing the film at the earliest,” A N Balaji added.

Rajasekhar Reddy has penned the dialogues for the film that has music by DM Udhay Kumar. Several sportspersons in the past including Leander Peas, Syed Kirmani, Ajay Jadeja, Vijender Singh, Sreesanth and Vinod Kambli have tried their luck in films but proved unsuccessful. Will Bhajji do the unexpected in this new innings?
