Will Uppena With This Negative Element End The Flop Streak?

Tollywood that was badly hit by corona pandemic started 2021 on hit note with Ravi Teja’s Krack turning out to be a massive blockbuster. Had not the makers opted for early release on OTT, the film would still have done well at box office. However, all the films released after Krack ended up as flops to disasters.

Starting From Alludu Adhurs, films like Red, Bangaru Bullodu, 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela and Zombie Reddy received lukewarm response from critics and audience alike. Now the question is will Uppena that is releasing in a couple of days on February 12th put an end to the flop streak of Tollywood.

Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty are making debut with the film that also marks debut of director Buchi Babu Sana. Although, the film is carrying exceptional buzz, the negative talk about climax is definitely worrying the makers as well as fans. As we reported earlier, Uppena will have a tragic end with heroine’s father played by Vijay Sethupathi giving a big punishment to the protagonist.

As per insiders, Uppena will be a beautiful romantic entertainer with engaging elements; its fate depends on how audiences will receive the tragic climax.
