Prashanth Don’t Insult NBK And NTR!

Nandamuri heroes Natasimha Balakrishna and young tiger NTR are pretty popular for thigh slapping scenes in their films based on factionism. In fact, fans wait to see both the mass heroes slapping their thighs in crucial sequences. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram too was seen slapping his thigh in few films. Of course, megastar Chiranjeevi and few others too did the act in their films, but it was Nandamuri hoes who brought significance to it.

Unfortunately, director Prashanth Varma made fun of thigh slapping in his latest outing Zombie Reddy. There is an episode where Getup Srinu asks hero Teja to thigh his slap. Getup Srinu in excitement slaps his thigh many times in the scene and thankfully, Teja didn’t slap his thigh. Nandamuri mass fans feel it as an insult to their heroes.

Prashanth Varma mentioned specially about this episode saying this would be the most hilarious part in the film. But, the episode is not that humorous. In fact, we hardly get to see humor in the film.

It may be mentioned that, Teja as Jr Chiranjeevi appeared slapping his thigh in Indra and it was an issue as people saw Chiru in him. But, he hasn’t reached the stardom to do the act even for fun. Hope, Prashanth Varma doesn’t repeat the mistake again!
