Acharya Theatrical Rights 122 Cr

Megastar Chiranjeevi is still ruling the industry as number one hero and the business stats of his films depict the same. Although his last film Sye Raa didn’t live up to the expectations, the prospects are sky high on his next outing Acharya being helmed by Koratala Siva who didn’t deliver a single flop till date.

Acharya teaser was released recently to thumping response and Koratala Siva presented Chiranjeevi in a best commercial way. Meanwhile, Acharya has been getting fancy offers for theatrical rights of different areas. While Warangal Srinu who became familiar after Krack theatres allotment controversy offered Rs 42 Cr, the makers got exceptional deals for Andhra and Ceded areas as well.

As per reports, a staggering Rs 60 Cr and 20 Cr were offered respectively for Andhra and Ceded regions. However, the makers haven’t yet closed business in any areas. If they accept for these deals, they will get whopping 122 Cr for theatrical rights alone.

The shooting of Acharya is fast progressing with its shoot. Ram Charan is also playing an important role in the film slated for release on May 14th.
