Andala Rakshasi Was Rejected, Then Why Dear Megha?

Andala Rakshasi marked debut of few actors and technicians. The film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi ended up as a flop, though few sections loved the concept. Based on same concept, a Kannada film Dia came and it is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. 

After watching positive reviews from Kannada industry, Telugus too watched it and they were surprised when they realized that its story is akin to Andala Rakshasi. However, Dia ends on a tragic note.

You might be wondering what this discussion is all about. Dia is being remade in Telugu as Dear Megha and Megha Akash plays the lead in it with Arun Adith and Arjun Somayajulu essaying male leads. Sushanth Reddy is directing the film under Vedanash Creative Works. And Soaring Elephant Films.

Dear Megha first look and motion poster have been unveiled today by the makers and Megha Akash is seen with tears in his eyes.
