Kotha Bangaru Lokam Actress On Divorce

Shwetha Basu Prasad, a popular child artiste turned actress is a noted face in Bollywood. Coming to South, she is popular for her movie Kotha Bangaru Lokam. Despite the movie was a big hit, it didn’t act as catalyst in boosting Shwetha’s career.

Apart from her professional life, Shwetha’s personal life is in the fore which is no less than a filmy affair. Having married to filmmaker Rohit Mittal in 2018, December, she soon annucned of parting ways even before celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

Shwetha has now spilled beans on her divorce and how was it calling it quits. She says that her divorce wasn’t nasty. As the relation ended in few months, it more felt like a ‘break-up’, she says. She adds, “I see couples who have been together for 10 years or more going separate ways. The fact that Rohit and I separated after only 6-8 months made it feel simply like a break up”.

Shwetha posted about her separation in 2019, December. “Hi everyone, Rohit Mittal and I have mutually decided to part our ways and end our marriage. After months of contemplation, we arrived at this decision few months ago in each other’s best interest, as individuals. Not every book is supposed to be read cover to cover, that doesn’t mean the book is bad, or one can’t read, some things are just best left unfinished. Thank you Rohit for the irreplaceable memories and always inspiring me. Have a great life ahead, forever your cheerleader,” she wrote.
