Uppena May Not Get The Chance!

Megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew and Sai Tej's brother Panjaa Vaishnav Tej is making his debut as hero with Uppena. The film directed by Sukumar's protégé Buchichi Babu Sana is capturing the imagination of all with the songs and teaser.

The film is co-produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings banners and inside talk is they spent a bomb on production though it is a debut film. Uppena which was supposed to release during last summer got postponed due to coronavirus. Now that the things are slowly returning to normalcy, the makers are planning to release the film in theaters soon.

The makers are planning to release Uppena on February 5th. If it happens, the film would be a big hit. But for that the film should have a full theatrical run for two weeks as it has to do the business of around 18-20crs to reach the breakeven. But there is no chance for solo release for Uppena on February 5.

They cannot have solo release the next week as Nihitin is getting ready to checkmate them with his latest film Check. Zombie Reddy release is also being planned for Feb 5th. There are also reports that, the makers are also mulling over the idea of releasing it in the end of February or in March. After considering all the probabilities, the makers will announce the release date soon. However, due to heavy rush in next few months, it may not be possible for the film to get the chance of solo release.

Those who watched Uppena are of the opinion that it will be a blockbuster but it has an anti-climax and all depends on how movie lovers receive it at the box office.
