Krack is the highest budgeted film so far for Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. The film was initially planned for release in summer, 2020. But, due to the corona pandemic and subsequent lockdown it got pushed. Though the makers got huge offers for OTT release, they rejected all of them. Unfortunately, they had to face last minute tensions and the film got clearance only from second shows.

Fortunately, Krack is running successfully. What really worked for the film, though almost everyone associated with were in flop streak including Ravi Teja, director Gopichand Malineni and Shruti Haasan and buzz was not really encouraging as the promos made an impression that Krack was a routine commercial potboiler?

Firstly, sympathy was developed on the film owing to release tensions. Then, the film got complete support from the industry and fans of other stars as well. Although Krack is a regular film with outdates concept, Gopichand Malineni who wanted to give a new experience to Telugu audience roped in top class technicians. Particularly the camera work of GK Vishnu and music by S Thaman are the biggest assets. Fight masters Ram-Lakshman did exceptional job with their stunts. Everybody’s talking about Vetapalem batch fights.

All these factors helped Krack to get positive response from all the corners and it is now doing well at box office. The question is will the film recover the investments as it was made on massive budget and there are various other films releasing for Sankranthi!
