Has actress and director Renu Desai contracted novel Coronavirus? Rumours have been thick and fast that she has tested positive for coronavirus. However, she cleared the air on the rumours stating that she is Covid negative and not to believe such rumours.

Taking to social media, she wrote, “The reason I did this post is because I got 3 calls in a span of 10mins. I attended an important function yesterday regarding environment and it will create a wrong impression of my responsible behaviour! If I test positive I will post it myself and not go out and attend functions!” (sic)

Renu Issues Clarifictaion

Requesting netizens not to believe such fake news, she wrote,“Guys it’s a sincere request I have that please stop following and believing in these stupid web sites and Twitter handles. These stupid people only survive on lies and false news. Only believe in verified accounts of celebrities. DON’T believe in this unverified stupidity.” (sic)

She further added, “This is not just about me but all film people related news and information! We all have our verified accounts to share information with you directly! These stupid people only want to gather followers by peddling lies about celebrities and not do some sincere work like us. STOP following these accounts and giving them business.” (sic)
