Bollywood Designer Comes Out As Transwoman

Bollywood designer Swapnil Shinde is a well-known face in the fashion industry and has worked with the likes of Deepika Padukone to Sunny Leone to Kiara Advani among others. She has now stunned everyone by coming out as transwoman. He revealed his new identity on Instagarm stating his new name as Saisha Shinde. She penned a lengthy post with the caption that goes, “Here we go 2021 #saishashinde.”

The lengthy post has Saisha taking about the pain and harassment she underwent in childhood and adolenscen too. She underlines the deep scars that have left on her. She further adds that it was during her 20s she found the courage to accept the truth that she is not gay but had different individuality. She adds, “I spent the next few years believing that I was attracted to men because I was gay, but it was only 6 years ago that I finally accepted to myself, and today that I accept to you. I'm not a gay man. I am a Transwoman.”

Her prominent works include Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion and the recent on is Kiara Adavni where she designed for Burj Khalifa song.
