Red Trailer: Who’s Killer, Ram Or Ram?

Ram’s upcoming action thriller Red which is official remake of Tamil hit Thadam was supposed to release in summer, this year. But, due to coronavirus outbreak followed by lockdown, the film got postponed. Although there were reports that, the film would release on one of the popular OTT platforms, Ram was hell-bent on releasing the movie in theatres only.

Red trailer is out today. It begins as a romantic entertainer with Ram adoring his colleague played by Amritha Aiyer. But, then his twin brother makes entry as a rogue and smart guy. There’s enmity between the two and the first one suspects his twin brother will go to any extent to disturb his life. Meanwhile, the two are arrested in a murder case. Who did this? And what’s the motive behind the murder?

Ram showed variation in two characters and Amritha is cool as his girlfriend. Nivetha Pethuraj is convincing as a police officer. Mani Sharma’s BGM elevates the mood. All in all, Red trailer promises a nail-biting investigative thriller by Kishore Tirumala. The film is gearing up for theatrical release during sankranthi.
