Narasimha Balakrishna did different roles in his illustrious career. He did mythological, social, folklore and other roles with utmost ease. One such role is in the film Bhairava Dweepam under the direction of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The classic starred Roja, KR Vijaya, Vijay Kmar, Babu Mohan, Satyanarayana and Rambha. Vijay Ranga Raju played the role of the evil magician.

Inside talk is the makers considered various actors before finalising Vijay Rangaraju for the role. Ravikondalarao provided story for the film. The makers planned to cast either Nana Patekar or Amrish Puri for the magician's role. However as their dates couldn't be adjusted, the makers finalised Vijay Rangaraju.

Balakrishna also starred in another hit film Aditya 369 under the direction of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. For quite some time rumours are spreading that Balakrishna's son Mokshagna would be making his debut starring in the sequel of Aditya 369 and it would be titled as Aditya 999.
