Pawan To Have Megastar’s Title?

Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati are joining hands for the first time ever for the remake of Malayalam hit film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. To be directed by Saagar Chandra, the latest news is that Powerstar wants to have Chiranjeevi’s 1982 film title Billa Ranga for this faithful remake.

Since the original film carries the name of the characters in the title, that is Ayyappan Nair and Koshy Kurian in Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Similarly, PK wants feels Billa Ranga fits the bill apt where Billa will be essayed by him and Rana will be seen as Ranga. This is buzz that is doing the rounds. The remake will see Sai Pallavi and Aishwarya Rajesh too. Bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments, the film will go on floors in the month of January, 2021 and is aiming for Summer release. 

The 1982 Billa Ranga saw Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu reprising the titular roles. Now, it is to be seen if the same title will be locked for, Ayyappanum Koshiyum or not? Apart from this, Pawan has Vakeel Saab and then Krish Jagarlamudi’s untitled flick. He also has given nod to Harish Shankar and Surender Reddy's project.

On the ther side, Rana is awiitng for the relase of Aranya, Haathi Mere Saathi and then Virata Parvam.
