Anomalies in Teachers Transfers: YSRCP Destroying Education System?

Lacks of Teachers in Andhra Pradesh are expressing anguish with the anomalies in ongoing Teachers transfers. On the other hand, educationists across the state are making hue and cry alleging that the ruling party is destroying the education system in the state.

As and when YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed the charges as the CM and initiated some historical schemes like Nadu-Nedu, Ammavodi, English Medium in government schools and Jagananna Vidya Kaanuka, it was thought the AP's CM has become a reformer of education system in the AP.

However, the YSRCP and the education department's monopoly have been flaunted with the ongoing transfers of Teachers. It's learnt that the government blocked 30% posts in Teachers transfers. As such, thousands of schools will be running with lack of sufficient subject Teachers which eventually results in deterioration of education standards in government schools.

It's gossiped that the education department's officials, some ministers and MLAs have decided to sell off the blocked vacancies for Rs.3 lakh to 5 lakh each after a couple of months post the transfers counselling is completed.

Needless to say, lakhs of Teachers are now repenting for casting votes to the YSRCP during 2019's general elections.

The YSRCP needs to consider this unrest among Teachers as the wake up call for its misgovernance.
