Anasuya Clarifies On Playing Silk Smitha

Anasuya Bharadwaj has been in the news for the past few days. She is making her Kollywood debut. After she posted a black and white picture of herself looking in mirror, rumours went aboard that she is all set to play Silk Smitha in her biopic Aval Appadithaan. The rumours were fuelled further after her picture with Vijay Sethupathi went viral.

With reports all over the media that she is playing Silk Smitha, she has now issued clarity stating that,  "I am NOT playing #SilkSmita garu in any biopic. Thank you" Coming back to Anasuya, the happening anchor and actress shot to fame with the Sukumar film Rangasthalam wher she essayed the role of Rangammatta. She now has become a popular choice for filmmakers. Currently she has Krishna Vamsi’s Ranga Marthanda, Ramesh Raparthi's Thank You Brother.
