Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Janasena party stepped back from contesting in GHMC polls. The party's chief ordered the enthusiastic contestants to withdraw their nominations. Having negotiated with BJP's top leaders Kishan Reddy and Bagaru Laxman, Janasena supreme decided to walk out of the poll battle.
De facto, Janasena wished to form an alliance with the BJP and wanted to contest in the GHMC polls on seat sharing basis. But then, BJP leaders didn't let JSP tie up with them to contest the elections and made the JSP steps back from the race.
As Janasna has no great strength to win the GHMC polls, the party's sympathisers haven't treated it as a big deal, JSP becoming out of the race.
On the contrary, JSP workers have taken Tirupati Lok Sabha by-polls highly prestigious. Initial reports suggest the BJP will be contesting in the by-elections while the Janasena will be supporting its allied party. If at all the same prediction comes into reality, Janasena would be degraded to an abyss in AP's political arena. JSP activists are reluctant to encounter such a shameful situation. That's why they wish JSP would contest in the by-polls and the BJP would extend its support to the Janasena.
