Actress On Going Blouse Less In Nireekshana

Remember senior actress Archana who wooed the audience in the song Aakasam Enatido from Nireekshana? The actress left an indelible mark with her performance as Tulasi in Balu Mahendra film. She in fact created flutter during her time for her portrayal as a tribal woman where she went blouse less throughout the film.  

Ask her about not wearing a blouse in the film, Archana responded stating that she had to perform on demand as the tribal woman portrayal required it. She added that she has no qualms about it and doesn’t consider  that as a “bold character” as the character demanded it. 

Nireekshana, 1982 film was her debut launch where she was paired alongside Bhanu Chander. Her next film was of filmmaker Vamis’s Ladies Tailor which increased her craze among the masses further.
