AP State Election Commissioner (SEC) Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar's unilateral decision of conducting local body polls in the month of February, 2021 has been castigated by the critics. It was further alleged he had taken this decision as per hidden orders passed by TDP's head Chandrababu Naidu.
Accordingly, Nimmagadda released the proceedings of the conduct of elections and sent a letter to AP CS Neelam Sahni.
However, here is the befitting retort to Nimmagadda from the AP CS through a reply letter. In his letter, AP CS cited the reasons that COVID still prevails and the officials, on the other side, were endorsed to various other duties. As such, the government is not in a position to conduct the elections.
And this morning at 11 am, Nimmagadda will be meeting state's governor Biswabhushan Harichandan. The governor needs to take a sensible decision in the process of reconciliation.
