Janasena Contests GHMC Polls: Not Only TRS, BJP Shocked

In what could be said a big breaking news is that Power Star Pawan Kalyan led Janasena political party has resolved to contest in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls scheduled on December 1. 

"Considering the appeals from the party's young activists, we have resolved to contest in GHMC polls. We directed the party's leaders and committees to get prepared to contest the poll battle. As of now, Janasena activists have participated in various movements in the city at ground level. And now, we decided to contest in the polls as per the request of the party's sympathisers," the press note released by JSP chief reads. 

Pawan Kalyan's decision has come as a huge shocker not only to the TRS party but also to the party's allied force, BJP. Telangana BJP president informed the media sources that none of the political parties  had approached the party to contest in the poll battle forming a tie up. Likely, there will be an alliance between JSP and BJP on war-footing in two days. 

The ruling TRS, on the other side, has taken aback the decision of the Janasena chief, obviously. 

Well, it remains, to be seen how well Janasena would show its impact in the GHMC polls.
