For a long time, the TRS government received innumerable appeals from the employees of various sections on salary hike and other demands. Yet, CM Kcr had never paid heed of them. However, just one humiliating defeat appeared to have made Kcr opened his eyes.
The other day, sanitary workers' salary was hiked from Rs.14500 to Rs.17500. And yesterday, the TRS government decided to pay the 50% salary back to the RTC employees which was deducted during the lockdown period. Also, the government is contemplating to provide job security to the RTC employees with an attractive scheme.
The egos of TSRTC employees were immensely hurt during their indefinite strike period when Kcr made some rude and harsh comments against them. And now, Kcr realized RTC employees, NGOs and other sections of employees are the instrumental factors for his victory in poll battles.
As such, ahead of GHMC elections, Kcr is taking employees friendly decisions on war-footing.
And now, a million dollars question is that what measures are being taken up by the AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to pacify the unrest among the employed in AP? The government deferred PRC for a long time while DA release schedule turned a laughing stock. Besides, 50% salaries which were deducted during lockdown period haven't been paid so far. Perhaps, this sort of ignorance on employees will lead to a humiliating defeat of YSRCP in local body polls.
