BJP's Rajya Sabha MP and allegedly bank scammer Sujana Chowdary's desperate attempt to escape to the US has failed miserably on Friday evening. According to reports Sujana was prevented from flying to the US at Delhi airport by the immigration officials.
Sujana, however, filed a petition in the Telangana high court alleging that he was prevented from leaving for a foreign country. Reportedly, the HC gave him a nod to visit the US, nevertheless, Sujana has to give the details of his US visit to the CBI sleuth before leaving the country.
Sujana was alleged a fraudster with a bank scam worth a total of Rs.5700 crores. Previously, ED officials seized Sujana's six luxurious cars and made raids on Sujana's offices and a few other properties.
It was said the former CM of AP Chandrababu Naidu forced banks lending hundreds of crores money to Sujana. As such, Sujana purchased a vast number of lands at Amaravati through insider trading.
