The union, state governments and supreme court and high courts of various states showed great enthusiasm in imposing restrictions on Deepavali festival. They banned the selling of fire crackers for this Diwali. While the AP government restricted bursting crackers for two hours, the Telangana high court ordered the state government to impose a complete ban of crackers' selling.

Firework dealers, on the other side, have become grief stricken with the decision and are posing a straight question what's the need of imposing a ban at the eleventh hour of Diwali celebrations.

If the celebrations of Vinayaka Chavithi and Diwali are restricted, upcoming festivals of other religions should also be restricted. Huge mass gatherings are usually witnessed in month-long Christmas celebrations. Hopefully, the governments and courts should impose restrictions on those mass gatherings as well keeping the public safety in care as the COVID 19 hasn't yet been contained.
