Keerthy Suresh rose to fame in Tollywood with Nag Ashwin’s film Mahanati. Her performance as late veteran actress Savitri won accolades from all quarters. Post this she was seen in Trivikram Srinivas’ Agnyaathavaasi. Although the film bombed at the box-office, her acting and glamorous avatar drew the attention of many. While she grabbed many film projects, the success streak of Mahanati didn’t continue as her recent films which were out on OTT tanked. For instance her last release - Penguin and Miss India- were all women-oriented films which turned flop at the box-office.
Her yet-to-release film, Good Luck Sakhi, also a female-oriented film doesn’t seem to hold popular opinion. With a series of flops and advice from her well-wishers to refrain from women-oriented films, reportedly Keerthy has decided to not take up such projects here after. As per reports, she has decided to work on films alongside heroes. With this producers who planned to cast her for women-centric films are left in huge shock.
