Dhanush To Play Rajinikanth In Superstar’s Biopic

For the last couple of years, Indian cinema has made numerous biographical films on legendary people. Out of them only few films like Mahanati turned hits, wherein most of them including NTR biopic tasted bitter results. Now, if a grapevine is anything to go by, superstar Rajinikanth’s biopic on cards.

Director Linguswamy who is a diehard for of Rajinikanth couldn’t get the opportunity to direct the superstar. Thus, he expressed his desire of making biopic of Rajinikanth and wants to cast the legend's son-in-law Dhanush in the lead role.

Linguswamy who delivered few flops in recent times planned to make a bilingual with stylish star Allu Arjun. Though Bunny too showed interest initially, he didn’t like few stories narrated by the director. Linguswamy is now willing to make Rajinikanth’s biopic.

It remains to be seen if Rajinikanth gives nod to his biopic at this moment and whether Dhanush would be interested in portraying the role or not. We have to wait and watch if this project will be materialized.
