Popular editor Kola Bhaskar (55) who worked for several Telugu and Tamil films such as Kushi, 7G Brundavan Colony Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule etc. passed away on Wednesday morning. He has been suffering from oral cancer for quite some time and breathed his last in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Though Kola Bhaskar is a Telugu person hailed from Chittoor and made grand debut in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster Kushi, he became popular and busy in Tamil films. He associated with Tamil director Selvaraghavan for six films.
Kola Bhaskar ventured into production to introduce his son Kola Balakrishna as hero with the Tamil film Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam which was dubbed into Telugu as Nannu Vadili Neevu Polevule and marked directorial debut of Selvaragavan’s wife Gitanjali.
