Chiranjeevi’s Acharya: Date Locked For Resumption

Megastar Chiranjeevi will also resume shoot of his latest flick Acharya. The latest shooting schedule begins from 9th of this month and Chiru will also join the team. Large chunk of shoot will be done in this long schedule. Actress Kajal Aggarwal who recently got married will also take part in the schedule.

Director Koratala Siva and team is making arrangements for the new shooting schedule. Earlier, they thought of shooting Ram Charan’s portions first. But, as Rajamouli resumed RRR shoot and scenes involving the lead cast are being canned. Thus, Koratala is now planning to shoot Chiru’s scenes.

Acharya is being produced by Ram Charan along with Niranjan Reddy under the Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments banners. Mani Sharma is roped in to score music for the film. Touted to be a socio-political actioner, the plot of the film reportedly revolves around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation of temple funds and donations.

The makers are planning to release Acharya in summer, 2021.
