Big B’s Role And Remuneration For Prabhas 21

Bollywood’s living legend Amitabh Bachchan will be starring in young rebel star Prabhas’s 21st film with Nag Ashwin. The news was recently announced officially by makers. While the regular shoot of the film that will feature Deepika Padukone playing female lead will begin in 2021, it will release in 2022.

If a grapevine is anything to go by Amitabh Bachchan’s role will be for 30 to 40 minutes and he has allotted bulk call sheets. Big B is said to have liked the script and his role, thus he at once gave his nod. He will be seen as mentor to Prabhas in the film to be made on large scale with lavish budget.

Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly charging Rs 30 crores for the film. While Prabhas will be charging around 80 Cr, Deepika Padukone draws a remuneration of around 15 to 20 Cr for the film. Apparently, half of the budget will be spent on remuneration of actors and technicians.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan played a cameo in Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam and then played a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Prabhas 21 will be third Telugu film for Big B.
