Should Telugu Stars Have Nepotism Tag?

Currently Tollywood has four senior stars and six top stars. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and Balakrishna are acting as a bridge between the seniors and the genex stars. In the early days NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Krishnam Raju and others laid the foundation and showed the power of Tollywood. All of them attained stardom coming to the industry without any filmi background.

However, among the next generation stars, only Chiranjeevi entered the industry without any filmi background and with his hard work and perseverance ruled the industry for many decades. Nagarjuna, Balakrishna and Venkatesh entered as the heirs of their fathers.

Among the current top stars Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, all have a filmi background. While Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have mega family background, NTR has Nandamuri background, Mahesh Babu has Ghattamaneni background and Prabhas and Krishnam Raju’s background.

Though all have nepotism blood running in them, they too with their hard work proved themselves as bankable stars and elevated the standard of Tollywood films at the international level.

However a question always arises that whether Tollywood top stars should have nepotism tag.
