Shame: Tollywood Disrespects SPB!

How many Tollywood celebrities attended the funeral of legendary singer Sp Balasubrahmanyam who is not a Tamilian but a Telugu person, though he was staying in Chennai along with his family? No star hero paid last respects to the legend who sung hundreds of songs for them.

From Kollywood, star hero Vijay and few others paid last respects by attending the funeral. Interestingly, Tollywood stars dare to resume shoots and other works, but they don’t have time to attend SPB’s funeral.

Interestingly, a delegation of leading Tollywood actors, producers and directors called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his Tadepally camp office during lockdown to discuss about allowing film shootings in the state. They also requested the government to facilitate film shooting infrastructure in Visakhapatnam. The deligation also met Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.

But, the Tollywood stars and filmmakers who released statements expressing their grief over SPB’s death don’t find time to attend his final rites. Moreover, SPB tested negative two weeks before he breathed last. So, there’s no corona scare.

The thousands of fans who attended the funeral of Sp Balasubrahmanyam were the true cinema fans, but not the ones who disrespected him!
